Youth Ministries

Our church is blessed to have Sydney Davis as our Youth Director. She is a student at Gardner-Webb University and since joining our church staff in 2017, she has become a vital resource to our high-school and middle-school youth by encouraging their personal walk with Jesus Christ. She helps with Sunday School classes, Sunday evening youth group activities and youth special projects.

Ongoing Programs for MIDDLE SCHOOLERS (Grades 6-8):

• Sunday School
• Middle School Youth Fellowship
  (Sundays during the school year from 6:00-7:30 with meal and program)

Special Events and Activities for MIDDLE SCHOOLERS:

• Middle School Youth Sunday
• “Souper” Bowl of Caring
• Valentines for Shut-ins
• Poinsettias for Shut-ins
• Church nursery care on Mother’s Day
• Decorations and gifts for the James Home
• Work days at Black Mountain Home
• Participation as servers for Senior Celebration Day

• High School Sunday School
• Grade 9 Confirmation instruction
• High School Youth Group
  (Sundays during the school year from 6:00-7:30 with meal and program

• High School Youth Sunday
• Heifer Project International
• Senior Celebration Dinner and special send-off
