At SPC, children and adults decorates the church building for Christmas and holds a short worship service after which everyone goes outside to decorate the tree on the front lawn. This year the Hanging of the Green is on December 3 at 6 pm.

SPC Cantata
In every Advent Season, the SPC choir brings their talents to worship for a cantata of multiple anthems throughout the 10 AM worship. This year the cantata service will include songs and a script from the Community Christmas Concert. The choir will lead worship on the fourth Sunday of Advent, December 21st.

Christmas Eve - Candlelight with Friendly Beasts

Handbell Choir
In every Advent Season, the SPC Handbell Choir helps to lead 10 AM worship with liturgical music and anthems for the season. This year, the handbells will be part of the service for the Third Sunday of Advent, December 14.

Children's Pageant
In every Advent Season, worship features our youngest singers in the 10 AM service. This may be anthems one year, or a whole Christmas pageant the next. This year the children will sing on the Second Sunday of Advent, Dec. 7th.

Longest Night - A Winter Solstice Service for those who are Grieving in this Season
At 6 PM on Monday, Dec. 22 in the chapel, this worship service will acknowledge and address the grief, loss, stress, and pain that can make it hard to celebrate in this season.
In prayer and reflection, with music and scripture, all who grieve in this season are invited to SPC's chapel for a relaxed, friendly environment to pause and ask God's help and presence through the often unanticipated and unintended results of the holiday season.

Christmas Eve - Candlelight at Midnight
At 11 PM on Christmas Eve, SPC members help lead worship for a solemn service that closes in candlelight and caroling around midnight.
